Fit Testing Distressed Denim at American Rag Cie's World Denim Bar (GIVEAWAY included)

I teamed up with Fashion Island to peruse their American Rag Cie World Denim Bar store with media babe, Kat to find our top five distressed jeans and host a giveaway of a pair of distressed jeans to three, yes THREE lucky winners. I tried on everything from boyfriend to super skinny cuts, barely to almost all shredded distressing, and a variety of washes and brands. When it comes to denim, the World Denim Bar is most likely, definitely, going to have that special pair of jeans you're looking for, I mean, they carry brands such as One Teaspoon, Current/Elliott, Strom, Siwy, Mother, AG Jeans, Paige, Joe�s Jeans, NEUW, Paper Denim & Cloth and more. Kat and I were excited to receive product knowledge from World Denim Bar manager Brian, and associate Christina, and we helped them see what each pair of jeans we tried on looked like on our bodies. Top 5 Distressed Denim Picks

Current/Elliott �The Fling� ($268)- If I'm going to go distressed, I'm really going to go for distressed without donning huge holes in which I have patches of bare skin showing. These Current/Elliott's are the perfect style if you want to rock shreds of denim down the front of boyfriend cut jeans. I always like how soft Current/Elliott jeans are and own a regular pair of boyfriends jeans; if I would have had a couple sizes smaller in this style, I would be taking this pair home. I loved the contrast of the ripped up jeans with the polished Rag & Bone booties.

AG Jeans/The Super Skinny Legging Ankle in Fog ($225)- I can't go wrong with these AG Jeans' skinnies; it's the perfect fit and length, a versatile dark wash, and has just a smidge of distressing above each knee. I can style these jeans with a white tee and sneakers or chiffon blouse and heels.

NEUW / �Sister Ray� ($149)- This pair of boyfriend jeans was not so flattering on the backside, but would have been more so if I was wearing a couple sizes smaller. I like the shape of the jeans where it's baggy not baggy, tapering more towards the ankles, as well as having distressing here and there. Kat liked these so much, she took them home and has already worn them two days in a row. This style looks great with a leather jacket or structured, slim blazer.

Joe�s Jeans / Finn Skinny Ankle Braelyn ($198)- These jeans were my all time favorite pair of jeans ever. Supple touch and feel, had stretch, and a very slight sheen to the denim. And I just loved the silhouette it created on my legs, with some rips being more discrete than others, staying true to a distressed-style denim and having a great frayed hem detail.

Frame Denim / Le Skinny Satine Warren ($219) � Go against the grain of blue or black denim, and try these awesome grey skinnies, which also plays into the fall trend of 'shades of grey'. This pair was also beyond incredibly soft, had amazing stretch, a good length, with minimal distress; and I would style it with a super cozy and oversized sweater or sweater cardigan.
