Malbec World Day with Speak Wines

Happy Friday and Happy Malbec World Day! Speak Wines, a local Orange County company bottles 2012 Malbec, a red wine that the company has produced in La Consulta, located in Mendoza, Argentina wine country. Aside from the delicious red wine, the bottles are dressed in the darn cutest labels! Speak Wines founders and friends Stephanie and Kerry curated a collection of quotes and phrases that inspire them and hopefully will inspire others.
They debuted Speak Wines with Collection 1, which includes a series of playful, happy, and quirky labels which reflect the emotions Stephanie and Kerry experienced during the development process of Speak Wines. I want to collect them all, drink the wine, and save the bottles!
I'm looking forward to seeing (and drinking) upcoming Speak Wines collections, and like the fashion industry, the company will release seasonal collections with labels that are influenced by trends and that are meant to speak to you. Get your own bottle ($25 each), or multiple bottles (don't blame you if you want the entire collection) here or if you're located in Orange County, stop by the Wine Gallery in Corona Del Mar.

Getting Intimate with Talia Organic Loungewear

You may have seen me style the sweet and soft Talia Lara Racerback dress as apart of my 2015 Coachella Style Series, and I wanted to share other pieces I received from the organic loungewear collection which were made in Peru from the highest quality Peruvian Pima cotton. I styled the matching ruffle Lexi Tank and Laila Shorts with the Lina Cardigan thrown over and worn with knee-high socks; creating the ultimate cozy, feminine, lounge look. I snuggled up in this look on a makeshift pillow haven in a field of wildflowers which was shot by Shawna of Bleudog Fotography. Get these pieces below:

Make Bold Moves with Casual 4 A Cause

Leading ladies Taylor and Jenny from Casual 4 a Cause recently launched their first real production run of shirts which I got to proudly wear and you can learn more about C4C and how to get your own 'Make Bold Moves' t-shirt on their an amazing kickstarter campaign. I met these lovely ladies awhile back at the Great Over Good brunch I co-hosted in October and it has been a treat to get to see how much Casual 4 a Cause has grown and where this awesome company will go. I styled my 'Make Bold Moves' t-shirt with a hat, booties, and denim-washed shorts with a aqua shirt tied around my waist to pull in the color of the t-shirt print. How would you style this 'Make Bold Moves' t-shirt? Thank you to Shawna of Bleudog Fotography for shooting this look!

The first design was painted in watercolor by Casual 4 a Cause artist Jessie from Soulmade Goods, that canvas artwork was then transferred onto the shirts. All C4C t-shirts are cut, sewn, dyed and printed right here in Southern California with premium, organic fabrics.

With each t-shirt sold, Casual 4 a Cause will donate $4 to their BElieve in YOUrself Foundation which helps women follow their dreams of being an entrepreneur; whether that is learning a new skill or helping them thrive with an established business. In order to be chosen as a grant recipient, potential awardees will be required to submit an application outlining what they plan on using funds for and what their expected timeline and results will be. After the submission deadline, a committee of women entrepreneurs from varying fields, along with the co-founders of casual 4 a cause will review each application and select the winner.will provide micro-grants to women entrepreneurs. See more and contribute to their campaign below:

Bonobos Guide Shop & AYR Denim

The fifth Californian, but first Orange County Bonobos Guideshop opened it's doors at the Fashion Island Shopping Center in Newport Beach a couple weeks ago. I was given a tour of the guideshop and the scoop on how men can receive a personalized shopping experience with a Bonobos Guide (fit expert). The once solely e-ccommerce store is now operating from 16 brick-and-mortar- locations and continually growing, giving customers the option to find that perfect fit or style in the guideshop before purchasing online or making the order in the store to be mailed later.

Men out there, say good bye to ill-fitting clothing from standard sizings and the frustrations of shopping and trying clothes on without direction. Bonobos offers a comprehensive shopping experience by providing countless styles, fits, and fabrics so you can find exactly what you like.

Here's how it works:
Make an appointment for a one-on-one fitting with a Bonobos Guide at www.bonobos.com/guideshop; walk-in appointments are also welcome

Once youre fit, check out at Bonobos.com either during your Guideshop appointment, with the help of a Guide, or place your order at home later

Shipping is free and items are delivered to your doorstep in 2-5 days

Bonobos offers easy returns (free return shipping) and guarantees 100% customer satisfaction

Bonobos also has the sister brand, AYR, which specializes in denim and wardrobe staples for women, yet offers the same customized fit and customer service as Bonobos; which currently has select styles from their denim line (see photos below) carried at Nordstrom.com and at The Grove in Los Angeles; with plans to expand to more Nordstrom locations. I just received a pair of The Skinny in Oil Slick and absolutely love they fit and style; can't wait to style them in an outfit!

Together by Gravity Bracelets for Children's Education in India

I was so excited when Sarika reached out to me from her jewelry label Together by Gravity based out of Newport Beach, CA. She designs the most exquisite earrings, necklaces, rings, and men and women's beaded bracelets made from precious and semi-precious stones, wood, diamonds, 18k gold, and sterling sliver; all inspired by ocean and earth's natural beauty, Sarika's Indian heritage and travels, with the most important aspect of her brand being that she gives a portion of her sales to support children's education in rural India. Since the company started less than a year ago in April 2014, Sarika has already been able to support 260 children allowing them to attend school for an entire year. Why Together by Gravity? The method of how a star is formed -- when the force of GRAVITY pulling in on the cloud is greater than the strength of internal pressure pushing out, the cloud collapses into a star. Sarika designed my very own three-bracelet set including onyx and peridot (my birthstone) beads, and she even included the meanings which wrote in a sweet hand written note. Also see how I styled the bracelets below!

Onyx: a stone for inner strength; it is worn to defend against negativity that is directed at you
Peridot: a stone of balance; worn to show compassion and uplift energy of all kinds

Shop all jewelry here, and the bracelet collection here; let's spread the word about children's education in India, doing good one bracelet at a time.

Thank you to Shawna at Bleudog Fotography for capturing my bracelets along with outfit and super rad hair which was styled by Dee of Swell Beauty and a tutorial will be posted soon.

Salt Shoes Two Ways for the Holidays

Unique & Stylish Convertible Heels supporting the 'NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN'

I heard about the fabulous Salt Shoes line through the OC fashion grapevine and was therefore really excited when co-founder Liliana reached out to me to style and shoot a pair of Salt Shoes. I met with her and picked out the wooden heel style in 'night' as well as gold foil and gunmetal foil straps to play around with. All heel and wedge styles are handmade by craftsman with wood that is from and cured in South America; and there are endless possibilities on how to wrap/wear the shoes. With the gold straps, I twisted the straps at the top of my toes and foot then wrapped it around my ankle. With the gunmetal straps, I kept the straps wider instead of twisted on my foot, and tied at the top of my toes and foot. I can wrap/tie both style straps in a way to show just the metallic side, the reverse denim side, or both. It's fun to get creative with the straps and I found that I need to pull the straps as taut as possible in order for the shoes to stay firmly on my feet, but these are the perfect holiday shoe that I can wear more than once to multiple holiday parties because of the vast ways of changing up the look of the shoes. And did I mention that they are very comfortable? I have the 8 MM thick proprietary foam and premium full grain leather footbed to thank for that. For a limited time the heels and wedges are mark downed from $200 to $100! Although the shoes are separate from the straps ($30-$40 set), my readers get 10% off their entire purchase with code: Feastfashionfaves (tax/shipping not included).  Details on my heels featured in this post:
