Trina Turk's Spring Style Out Event with OC 'It' Girl Emily Loftiss

TV Personality and Style & Beauty Expert Emily Loftiss hosted a Spring Style event with Trina Turk at the Fashion Island boutique in Newport Beach last Thursday. Guests enjoyed 20% off the new, vibrant Spring collection (seriously loving the resort feel with the bright and happy colors and patterns) as well as styling tips from Emily, champagne, and Batter & Cream treats. I've known Emily for a little over a year now; her personality is infectious, her style impeccable, and her hair, oh so fabulous. PJ SALVAGE Valentine Preview 2015

PJ Salvage, a so cal based pajama, loungewear, and intimates label invited bloggers to a Valentine's Preview Luncheon in which lunch from Veggie Grill was provided along with juice and cocktails from Ritual Wellness, aromatherapy and wellness treatments from Daily Spa Living, manicures by The Nail Truck and a goody bag for each blogger filled with items from Woodzee, Nila Anthony, Pure Plant Home, The Wine and Chocolate Workout, and of course PJ Salvage. I had fun taking a look and feeling the newest styles in PJs, robes (there were many fluffy, cozy styles I wanted them all), thermal loungewear, home goods; and in the cutest prints and colors ways. It was also fun getting to meet the face of PJ Salvage, the darn cutest French Bulldog, Lily; her fave spot to lounge was in The Nail Truck airstream, but I was able to snap a pic with her, see below! I'm beyond excited to announce that I'll be co-hosting Emblem Showroom's First Glimpse Blogger Exclusive Preview with fellow blogger babe Kimberly Luu, next Wednesday February 11, 2015 from 6-9:30pm at the Station Hollywood in the W Hollywood Hotel! If you're a local blogger come between 6-8:30pm for a sneak peek look during a live installation of 5-7 designer collections, the event will then open to the public from 8:30-9:30pm! Bloggers Night Out with Emblem Showroom benefiting Toys for Tots

Two Australian Labels to be on the lookout for

Blogger babe Kimberly Luu brought me along with her to previewed S/S 15 collections for two Australian lines represented by Emblem Showroom in DTLA last week. The Inder Dhillon collection featured innovative textures and hand painted embellishing, bright and jewel toned colors mixed with neutral hues, and a variety of interesting silhouettes. The SWF collection was inspired by the chic, Manhattan woman with feminine but modern dresses, flow-y pieces, and bold prints. Aside from getting to check out each line, Kimberly and I got manis from Priv and enjoyed adult beverages. Guests were also encouraged to bring toys and presents to contribute to Toys For Tots, such as great cause to support and align with fashion this holiday season. And, I can't wait to pull garments from Emblem Showroom to style for a shoot!

Two Point Oh LA's 5th Annual Snowball, Maker City LA

Two Point Oh LA hosted yet another festive Snowball to bring together so cal's fashion, beauty, and lifestyle bloggers and tastemakers at Maker City LA in Downtown LA to celebrate the holiday season. Prior to the soiree, bloggers and attendees were invited to experience the Styling Suite which included getting hair done by Blow Me Hair App (I had vintage waves done by hairstylist Leticia); a massage by Destination 2 Relaxation, and selecting a dress from Daily Look for the event (or accessories if you already had a dress). Styling Suite guests also got to enjoy an awesome mimosa and light bites bar. Andrew was my date so we went through the Styling Suite together, then off to dinner, and back for the big event. It was fun getting to see and reconnect with familiar faces or bloggers I usually don't get to see on a more regular basis. Yummy cocktails, a candy bar, Christmas ornaments and tunes filled the space; and at 9pm, guests were able to walk through a Gifting Suite and select items from various brands to take home and experience!
