A couple Saturdays ago, I got my fitness on with the Herbalife health coaches of #24FitOC in Anaheim. My dear college friend Dana became a Herbalife health coach a few years ago and invited me to come workout, then have a post recovery shake and mingle with others; there's a $5 fee and all proceeds and donations from this particular event were going to our friend Brandon Williams whom had recently passed from cancer. Before his passing, him and his family planned to host a BBQ fundraising event to raise money for travel and medical expenses, Brandon then requested that the money raised go to the school he used to teach at. So after an exciting game of dodgeball and pumped up rotation of exercises targeting different areas of the body: arms, legs, abs, you name it; we all headed to the #24FitOC office and sipped shakes while hearing everyone's inspirational stories of triumph with their weight, nutrition, and overall happiness. The cookies and cream flavored shake was delicious and kept me nice and full after the workout; and my body was sore for at least 3 days after, guess I needed to get moving and I loved that everyone was so enthusiastic and kept me wanting to work harder (or not give up) with their positive vibes. If you're in the OC area and looking to lose weight or tone up through nutrition and exercise, my friend Dana is your girl, email her for more information. Dana was able to take $180 down to the BBQ in honor of Brandon!

FFF x Bari Fashionably Fit Sweat Test, Newport Beach
I'm super excited to get to meet a dear friend today to check out her new bracelet label, KYSS bracelets; and we will also be collaborating on something special. Before I share my meeting with KYSS, I wanted to share this blogger event from last Wednesday. I hosted an amazing event with fitness studio Bari Newport Beach which brought together OC and LA bloggers for a 'fashionably fit sweat test'. Each blogger was given a station which consisted of a gifted fitness wear piece from Six 02 placed on top of mini trampoline with a name card and a water bottle. The bloggers had brought their own workout wear to style their gifted item, and after introductions from Bari girls Michelle & Kara, Six 02 rep Karen, and I; we talked a bit about fall fitness fashion as well as the brands that were gifted and how we would be 'sweat testing' our item. We then headed into another studio to get a condensed version of the BariONE class, with an emphasis on trampoline work taught by Michelle. Post workout, everyone cooled down in the original studio and had a round table about how our Six 02 item held up. It was interesting to hear about each piece from the bloggers, as well as how they might style it for street wear or apres workout. We finished up the event by mingling over Ritual Wellness juice cocktails and taking tons of photos! I can't wait to go back to another Bari class, it's SUCH an amazing workout, which you can read more about here.
