Floral & Fringe for Co-Hosting #GOGBrunch

A Casual Country-Inspired Look for GOG Brunch
Happy Halloween Everyone! Do you have any parties to attend, festivities to be apart of? If so, what are you dressing up as? I still have no idea what I want to dress up as or if I'm even going to dress up because I have no Halloween plans. Before the weekend is in full effect, I wanted to share the look from the Blogger Brunch that I co-hosted with artist collective, Great Over Good. It was a huge success, and I can't wait to start planning another event for creatives. The floral dress and knit wrap are from Elison Rd, all jewelry from Earthy Luxe, and Sam Edelman Boots from Tootsies Shoe Boutique. Kind of got the country fields, free spirit, bohemian babe thing going on with the floral print, fringe sweater knit, layering of wood beaded bracelets, deer suede & pearl fringe necklace, and riding boots. Stay tuned for photos from the brunch!Photos taken by Andrew Nguyen

Live the Look Fall Fashion Show with Rachael Zoe at South Coast Plaza

The Fabulous Stylist & Designer Rachel Zoe at South Coast Plaza
On October 9, 2014 shopping destination South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and The Hollywood Reporter hosted the 'Live the Look: Fall Fashion Show' curated by designer and celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. Fashion show attendees were presented with Rachel's personal take on this season's trends with luxury brands Gucci, Max Mara, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, Brunello Cucinelli, Barbara Bui, Fendi, Chloe, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, and Lanvin.
The fall fashion trends (that can be purchased at South Coast Plaza) that stood out to me the most were oversized, luxury coats that almost resembled cozy (chic) blankets; metallic and fur elements, fringe details, and bold embellishments like fully studded leather jackets or bejeweled dress bodices.
Following the runway show, Rachel and her husband Rodger and The Hollywood Reporter team and guests enjoyed an intimate dinner at Marche Moderne, a french bistro in SCP. Fashion attendees enjoyed put together looks on models dressed in SCP labels by Orange County fashion stylists,  as well as champagne and light bites, and a fun photo booth.
The actual fashion show itself was a great way to experience high fashion that is also obtainable within South Coast Plaza's storefronts; and it was the cherry on top that the presentation was led by such a style icon and fashion industry leader like Rachel Zoe. Check out my outfit for the night here!
