Saks Off 5th Opens October 9, 10am in Costa Mesa, Metro Pointe at South Coast

Yesterday, blogger Alyssa and I got to visit the NEW Saks OFF 5th location at the Metro Pointe at South Coast Shopping Center in Costa Mesa. We were given a tour by Saks OFF 5th Vice President of Marketing Robby and his wonderful team! Prior to our tour I was taking in the grandeur of it all; the vast open space, the illuminated racks upon racks and shelves upon shelves of beautiful, designer items at additionally marked down prices (all those red signs above the designer signs boasted 30-40% off the lowest ticketed price), and my favorite, the hot pink neon sayings like 'Meet Your Soulmate' (shoes), 'Make a Statement' (statement costume jewelry), and 'Sparkle Like You Mean It' (fine jewelry) to name a few. I love the hip and youthful street feel of the store, very reminiscent of my days gallivanting around New York City during fashion week; especially with the painted exposed brick walls and bold signage. The selection is phenomenal and the prices, even more so. I was like a kid in a candy store, and let's just say that organized is an understatement; I know where the shoes are, I know where the jeans are, and I know where the women's, men's, kids', accessories departments are, and more important where the cash wrap (checkout) is located. There will be a sneak peek party tonight, October 8 from 4-9pm, so come check out the store (I'm going to try to make it over there around 8pm); then the store official opens it's doors tomorrow October 9 at 10AM!
